AAN Research Program

Research

The AAN Research Program advances discoveries that improve the lives of people affected by neurological disease by supporting the researchers who drive progress forward. Through a robust portfolio of neurology research grants and scholarships, the American Academy of Neurology funds investigators at critical stages of their careers—helping transform innovative ideas into breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment across the spectrum of brain and nervous system disorders.

Support for the AAN Research Program

There has never been a more critical time for neuroscience research. Support for the AAN Research Program through the AAN Institute, our 501(c)(3) charity, allows us to directly fund more neuroscience research, drive innovative breakthroughs, and facilitate neurological cures.
